    Cotton Scintilla Hand Paint – Colourways are self striping and are specially dyed to give you a short colour repeat, great for when you want lots of colour and they are matched to our  Colour Ways,  so that you can happily use them together.

    About ColourSpun Cotton Scintilla yarn

    Our mill spins ColourSpun Cotton Scintilla from the finest quality, natural and locally grown 100% pure cotton and just a slither of viscose, in order to give it a scintilla of shine.  We use an earth friendly process and dyes that are OEKO-TEX and Bluesign certified to hand dye our huge range of colours. Special dye methods ensure that each strand will have its own unique characteristics.

    We spin our cotton yarn for softness and then specially ply it to prevent splitting, which makes it equally good for crochet, knitting and weaving. It’s an eco cotton, which means it’s biodegradable and hypoallergenic,  so, it’s good for you and the environment too!

    Washing Instructions

    We recommend that you hand wash eco cotton in cool water. You can also use the wool or delicate cycle to machine wash and then dry flat.  See full washing instructions here: Washing Instructions

    Certification

    ColourSpun is a registered user of the Cotton Mark which is the certifying mark for pure cotton.  Cotton Scintilla consists of 80% Pure Cotton and 20% Viscose and carries the Cotton Blend Mark of quality.

    Delivery:

    We hand-dye, air-dry and handball all the yarn for Cotton Scintilla Hand Paint – Colourways. Please allow two weeks for production before shipping – the quality is worth the wait.
