Pure Merino Wool DK yarn is soft and smooth, and is a firm favourite. Use it for projects ranging from small accessories to king size afghans and baby clothes to men’s pullovers. It works equally well for knitting, crochet or weaving.

This extra soft, 3 ply, super wash yarn is mill spun and Herco treated to prevent felting. We hand dye all our yarns in our dye studio, using an earth friendly process and dyes. We use special hand dye methods in order to ensure that each strand is imbued with the artist’s energy and will have its own unique characteristics.

There are over 500 colours in our range, see our inspiration here . Pure Merino Wool DK yarn is hand dyed in batches of 5 skeins, but we can dye larger batches on request. We urge you to order enough yarn for your project, because as with all yarn, dye lots vary.

We know how having just the right colour can turn a great project into a fabulous one, so, if you don’t find the colour you’re looking for, we will have a go at creating it for you.

Washing Instructions

We hand dye on order, so please allow two weeks for production before shipping. The quality is worth the wait.
