Acrylic Sock Blockers – Adult are essential to keep your hand knit socks looking their best.

Sock blockers even out your stitches and show off  lace and cable designs to perfection, so don’t let your intricate stitch patterns get lost on crumpled socks. Block your socks on a sock blocker every time you wash them.

Acrylic is a preffered material for sock blockers as it will not swell or crumble from repeated use with damp socks.

Note

For your sock blockers to work properly, they need to be slightly bigger than the size of the socks you want to block.

How to use sock blockers

• First wash your socks – see our washing instructions here
• Roll the socks in a clean towel and gently squeeze out any excess water. Do not to wring them.
• Place the socks onto a pair of sock blockers.
• Lie them flat on a towel, or hang them on a clothes rack or washing line and leave them to dry.
