Sock Ruler

Sock Ruler – has everything you need to make measuring hand knit or crochet socks easy.  In order to ensure you always achieve a perfect fit, measure often while making your socks.

Because its marked in both centimeters and inches with UK and US sizes included for men, women and children, it’s great for measuring both feet and socks.

To measure feet, place the “0” edge of the ruler against a wall. Place the foot on the ruler with the heel against the wall  and take the measurement at the end of the longest toe.

Use the shoe sizes engraved on the ruler to determine the size of socks. (Remember that adult socks usually have 10% negative ease.)

While it is in progress, slip the sock ruler into your sock or hold it against the sock,  to easily determine when to start the toe (cuff down)or heel (toe up).  Use the inch/cm ruler to measure the height of your cuff.
