Cotton Scintilla Happie Packs

Cotton Scintilla Happie Packs are perfect for creative knitting and crochet, modular knitting, Fair isle, Intarsia, stripes, granny squares, embroidery, embellishment ….  anything that requires a riot of colour!  We made less so that you can have more!  These delicious little 10g cakes of happiness are filled with the natural goodness of ColourSpun yarn.

Note:

We randomly choose the colours for our Happie Packs from the over 500 in our range, plus some extra special ones to create a beautiful, rainbow palette. Each Pack will be unique and the individual colours will not be named or numbered.

About ColourSpun Cotton Scintilla yarn

Cotton Scintilla  is a beautiful yarn that is mill spun from the finest quality, natural and locally grown 100% pure cotton and a strand of viscose/bamboo, in order to give it a scintilla of shine.

We use an earth friendly process and dyes that are OEKO-TEX and Bluesign certified to hand dye our huge range of colours. Special dye methods ensure that each strand will have its own unique characteristics.

Our mill spins our cotton yarn for softness and then specially plies it to prevent splitting, which makes it equally good for crochet, knitting and weaving. It’s a natural cotton, which means it’s biodegradable and hypoallergenic,  so, it’s good for you and the environment too!

Washing Instructions

We recommend that you hand wash our cotton scintilla in cool water. You can also use the wool or delicate cycle to machine wash and then dry flat.  See full washing instructions here: Washing Instructions

Certification

ColourSpun is a registered user of the Cotton Mark which is the certifying mark for pure cotton.  Cotton Scintilla DK/8ply consists of 50% Pure Cotton and 50% Bamboo and Cotton Scintilla Sport consists of of 80% cotton and 20% viscose. Both carry the Cotton Blend Mark of quality.

Delivery:

We hand-dye, air-dry and handball all the yarn for our  Cotton Scintilla Happie Packs. Please allow two weeks for production before shipping – the quality is worth the wait.
