Rebel Henley Sweater Kit

Rebel Henley Sweater Kit contains yarn to make Hilda Steyn’s beautiful pullover. Depending on the size you choose to make, you may need more or less yarn.

This sweater is knitted top down in one piece, with small seams under the arms only. Initially you will work back and forth in rows, until you join to knit in the round when the Henley slip is done.

This is a plain stocking-stitch pattern. As such it lends itself to variegated yarns or stripes in different colours.

You can choose between a ribbing at the bottom, or a turned over hem.

This is a Measure & Make pattern, which means you start with the circumference of the neck of the person who will wear the sweater. With minimal math, you can knit this sweater to any body size, with any yarn, and any size needles.

If you make it once, you will make it again.

 NOTE:

Rebel Henley Sweater Kit is a yarn only kit, you will need to purchase the Rebel Henley Instructions in order to make the pullover/sweater.

Size:

This is a Measure & Make pattern – fully size inclusive, from new born baby to adult male.

Care/Cleaning/Storage Instructions:

Hand wash in cool water. Dry flat. Store with a little scented soap or camphor wood blocks.

Kit contains:

• Small (toddler)– 4 x 50g Pure Merino DK 
• Medium (child) – 8 x 50g Pure Merino DK
• Large (adult) – 12 x 50g Pure Merino DK
• Extra Large (adult) – 16 x 50g Pure Merino DK

If you prefer, you can choose your own colours from the over 450 Pure Merino DK colours. Let us know which colours you have chosen in the notes at checkout.

This is a Measure and Make pattern, so, although the yarn amounts have been calculated, they are still just an estimate of what each individual garment will require. Please calculate your yarn requirements and order accordingly.

Not included:

• US 6 – 4.0 mm Knitting Needles
• Other notions – scissors, sewing needle

Delivery:

We hand-dye, air-dry and handball all the yarn for Rebel Henley kits. Please allow two weeks for production before shipping – the quality is worth the wait. This is a yarn only kit. The Pattern is available from Hilda Steyn’s Pattern Shop

International orders may incur import duties and/or tax and clearing fees. The recipient of the shipment is liable for all such fees. *Orders to the USA under 800usd and AUS under 1000aud typically incur no customs duties.
