ColourSpun Pure Cotton embroidery thread is hand dyed. We use only the finest quality, mill spun, non mercerised, pure cotton thread;  which we colour to complement our range of cotton fabric and yarns .  Each bobbin of #8 or #5 cotton embroidery thread is already wound for your convenience, so that you can get straight to stitching!

We choose the finest quality, natural and locally grown 100% pure cotton and have it mill spun to our specification.  We use an earth friendly process and dyes that are OEKO-TEX and Bluesign certified to hand dye our huge range of colours. Our special dye methods ensure that each strand will have its own unique characteristics.

It’s an eco cotton – biodegradable and hypoallergenic, so good for you and the environment too!

Washing Instructions

We recommend that you hand wash in cool water or machine wash using the wool or delicate cycle and then dry flat.  See full washing instructions here

Delivery:

We hand dye on order, so please allow two weeks for production before shipping.

International orders may incur import duties and/or tax and clearing fees. The recipient of the shipment is liable for all such fees, which are payable to their government.
