Etoile Baby Blanket Pattern

Etoile Baby Blanket, designed by Heidi from Heidi Bears, uses stranded colorwork and works flat on a long circular knitting needle. A 2 × 2 ribbed border frames the blanket all around, adding structure and a polished finish. The design includes 23 bands of stranded colorwork, and two rows of one‑colour knitting separate each band, creating clear transitions and beautifully defined sections.

Size:

The blanket measures 43.5” (110.5 cm) wide including the border, and 59” (150 cm) long, including the border.

You will need:

• Pure Merino Sock Weight / 4 ply yarn (320m/350yds per 100g) –  Midnight : 11 x 50g and Natural : 9 x 50g
• •  3.0mm (US size 2.5) or size needed to achieve gauge, plus 1 size smaller for ribbing.

  • Stitch markers
