Double Bubble Beanie Kit

Double Bubble Beanie Kit for double-layered beanies that are ideal for those very cold spells, or those very cold places.

You can choose between a closed crown, and a ponytail crown. Both versions are double-layered, made in Pure Merino Aran.

The inner beanie is done in stocking stitch. The outer beanie has pretty mock cables over a background of reverse stocking stitch. The two layers are knitted separately, then the ribbing stitches are picked up through both layers and knitted at the end.

NOTE:

This is a yarn only kit, you will need to purchase the Double Bubble Beanie Instructions in order to make the beanie.

Care/Cleaning/Storage Instructions:

Hand wash in cool water. Dry flat. Store with a little scented soap or camphor wood blocks.

If you prefer, choose your own colours from  the over 450 Pure Merino Aran colours.  Let us know which colour you have chosen in the notes at checkout.

Not included:

• US 7 – 4.5 mm
• US 8 – 5.0 mm
• Other notions – scissors, sewing needle

Delivery:

We hand-dye, air-dry and handball all the yarn for Double Bubble Beanie kits. Please allow two weeks for production before shipping – the quality is worth the wait. This is a yarn only kit. The Pattern is available from Hilda Steyn’s Pattern Shop
