Starry Starry Night Shawl Kit

Starry Starry Night Shawl kit gives you all the yarn you need to make a magnificent crochet  shawl. Starry Starry Night Shawl , designed by Heidi from Heidi Bears, is a work of art, stylish, warm, and cosy to wear. It’s design is ingenious and has a very special way to take care of yarn ends that minimises darning in.

The pattern is written in US terminology. There are clear, easy to follow diagrams and also links to video support.

Kits with all the yarn you need are available in 4 different yarn options in the original colour way, but if you prefer to choose your own colours, have a look at our Pastiche Lace, Pastiche DK,  Pure Merino DK and Pure Cotton DK. 

Skill level:

ADVANCED pattern. Not to say that intermediate crocheters wouldn’t be able to make this shawl – but it will take patience and care.

Size:

Using the Pastiche Fingering and ColourSpun Kid Silk and the recommended hook size, will give you a shawl approximately 2.25m (+/-88”) in size, point to point horizontally, and approximately 65cm (+/- 25.5”) deep in the middle, after blocking.

Kit contains:

Option 1 – ColourSpun Pastiche Lace ( 30% Silk + 70% Kid Mohair)  and Pastiche Fingering Luxury Blend (50% merino, 15% kid mohair and 15% silk with a core of 20% polyamide)

• ColourSpun Kid Silk – 8 x 25g  + 16 x 12.5g
• Pastiche Fingering Luxury Blend – 9 x 50g  + 16 x 25g

Note that these yarns are worked together throughout.

Option 2 – Pastiche DK (60% merino, 20% kid mohair and 20% super fine alpaca)

Care/Cleaning/Storage Instructions:

Hand wash in cool water. Dry flat. Store with a little scented soap or camphor wood blocks. Find Washing Instructions here
