Pure Merino Roving – Super Fine

Pure Merino Roving Super Fine is our finest grade Merino wool, with a micron count of 18.5. Because it is exceptionally soft against the skin, it is the perfect choice for spinning, wet felting, and needle felting projects where the finished piece will be worn close to the body. Think baby garments, scarves, and delicate clothing items where softness and a luxurious feel are non negotiable.

We hand dye all our Pure Merino Roving Super Fine in our Heidelberg studio using earth friendly dyes and methods. As a result, every roving develops its own unique colour characteristics.

ColourSpun Colours

There are over 500 colours in our range,  see our inspiration here . Pure Merino Roving – Super Fine is hand dyed in 250g batches , but we can dye larger batches on request.   We urge you to order enough fibre for your project, because, as with all dyed fibre, dye lots vary.

If you don’t find the colour you’re looking for, we will have a go at creating it for you.

Washing Instructions

Hand wash merino wool in cool water and then dry flat for best results. See full washing instructions here: Washing Instructions

Please allow two weeks for production before shipping. We dye to order.
