Cedar Forest Kit

Cedar Forest kit contains the yarn you need for Cedar Forest, a Measure & Make pattern from Hilda Steyn.

The pattern is written in such a way that it can be made in any size, from a toddler, to an adult male.

The sweater is crocheted top-down in one piece with no seams. The ribbings are added afterwards. The stitch pattern is relatively simple, and it might even feel somewhat boring, but the result is a lovely dense and squishy sweater, resulting in a nice and warm garment. The project and the stitch pattern are unisex; it will be beautiful on a man too.

NOTE:

Cedar Forest Kit is a yarn only kit, you will need to purchase the Cedar Forest Instructions in order to make the pullover/sweater.

Size:

The design is fully size inclusive and adaptable to really fit your body. You measure, and you make – Made to Measure!

Care/Cleaning/Storage Instructions:

Hand wash in cool water. Dry flat. Store with a little scented soap or camphor wood blocks.

Kit contains:

• Small – 10 x 50g ColourSpun Pure Merino Sock / 4ply  OR  Pure Cotton Sock/4ply
• Medium – 14 x 50g ColourSpun Pure Merino Sock / 4ply  OR  Pure Cotton Sock/4ply
• Large – 18 x 50g ColourSpun Pure Merino Sock / 4ply  OR  Pure Cotton Sock/4ply

If you prefer, you can choose your own colours from the over 450 Pure Merino Sock / 4ply colours or the Pure Cotton Sock / 4ply colours.  Let us know which colours you have chosen in the notes at checkout.

This is a Measure and Make pattern, so, although the yarn amounts have been calculated, they are still just an estimate of what each individual garment will require.

Not included:

•  3mm crochet hook
• Other notions – scissors, sewing needle

Delivery:

We hand-dye, air-dry and handball all the yarn for the Cedar Forest  kits. Please allow two weeks for production before shipping – the quality is worth the wait. This is a yarn only kit. The Pattern is available from Hilda Steyn’s Pattern Shop

International orders may incur import duties and/or tax and clearing fees. The recipient of the shipment is liable for all such fees, which are payable to their government.
