Wacky Weave Squares Afghan/Shawl Kit

Wacky Weave Squares Afghan/Shawl Kit has all the yarn you need in order to make this beautiful crochet design from Hilda Steyn of Ilona Slow Life Creations.

Interlocking Crochet isn’t a new concept. It is also known as Double Filet, or Intermesh Crochet. There are 12 square patterns. Use each one three times, in order to make  36 squares. Join 6×6 for an Afghan. Join 4×9 for a throw or a shawl.

Use simple interlocking patterns to create blocks that look the same on both sides. Use intricate patterns in order to create blocks that have two unique sides. Wacky Weave Square has mostly intricate blocks, so will have two different sides.

Care/Cleaning/Storage Instructions:

Hand wash in cool water or machine wash using the wool or delicate cycle(colour catchers are recommended) in order to keep your Afghan/shawl looking good. Do not use bleach. Dry items flat, out of direct sunlight and ease into shape if necessary. Blocking is recommended. Store with a little scented soap or camphor wood blocks, because they will help repel pests.
