Snap the African Flower Turtle

Snap the African Flower Turtle, designed by Heidi of Heidi Bears, is easy to make and works well as a soft toy for children of all ages. Heidi is the original designer of the African Flower motive animals, and this turtle is one of her most popular designs.

This is a yarn only kit. The pattern is available from Heidi Bears

Knowledge of basic crochet – US terms used

Size

Snap the African Flower Turtle measures approximately 15cm from shoulder to shoulder, and approximately 30cm nose to tail.

Care/Cleaning/Storage Instructions

Hand wash  in cool water. Squeeze gently, do not twist or wring. Dry flat on back. Rearrange stuffing if necessary when dry. Store with a little scented soap or camphor wood blocks, in order to repel pests.

Kit Contains

• 8 x 50g  Pure Merino Sock/4ply (recommended)
• OR  8 x 50g  Pure Cotton Sock/4ply

Not included

• 1.75mm crochet Hook
• Pure Merino Fibre Fill stuffing
• Safety eyes

Delivery:

We hand-dye, air-dry and handball all the yarn for the Snap the African Flower Turtle kits.  Please allow two weeks for production before shipping – the quality is worth the wait.
