Let’s Learn Heritage Blanket Kit

Let’s Learn Heritage Blanket Kit has all the yarn you need to make this beautiful knit and crochet blanket from Hilda Steyn.

The design is done in such a way that you can choose to either only knit, only crochet, or do both. Crochet and Knitting are heritage crafts, something we used to learn from our mothers and grandmothers. The Let’s Learn Heritage Blanket was designed as a project to teach people to knit and crochet.

If you want to learn, this is the pattern and video course for you.

NOTE:

This is a yarn only kit. The pattern only is available from Hilda Steyn Designs on Ravelry (USD) and the pattern with video coarse from Ilona Slow Life Creations (ZAR).

Approximately 130x130cm

Care/Cleaning/Storage Instructions:

Hand wash in cool water or machine wash using the wool or delicate cycle(colour catchers are recommended.) Do not use bleach. Dry items flat, out of direct sunlight and ease into shape if necessary. We recommend blocking in order to achieve a more professional finish. Store with a little scented soap or camphor wood blocks,  as they help keep pests away.

• 26  x 50g  Pure Cotton DK

Not included:

• 3.5 mm (E) and 4.5 mm crochet hooks
• US 4 – 3.5 mm and US 8 – 5.0 mm knitting needles

Delivery:

We hand-dye, air-dry and handball all the yarn for Let’s Learn Heritage Blanket Kit. Please allow two weeks for production before shipping – the quality is worth the wait. This is a yarn only kit.
