An assortment of different yarn textures and weights is best for making crochet fiddle mitts. They should also have about 4 attachments – ribbon, buttons, beads, charms etc. securely attached, in order to ensure that they offer tactile stimulation. They use up even the tiniest bits of yarn, and so they are perfect stash busters!

These Crochet Fiddle Mitts will fit average size ladies hands but the instructions are easy to alter for any size.
You will need:
- An assortment of stash or scrap yarn in different weights and textures. (even the tiniest bits)
- 4.5 mm knitting needles or size to suite your yarn
- An assortment of embellishments – buttons, ribbon, beads etc.
- Other notions – scissors, sewing needle
