The Family Hat Collection kits contain enough yarn to knit a beanie from this collection designed by Hilda Steyn.
Hilda’s husband and son love their beanies in winter. But to both of them, a beanie is not a fashion item. They couldn’t care for slouchy hats. They pull the hat all the way down onto their heads, and fold it over. No stitch pattern other than ribbing works for these two men in her life. At least, when they fold ribbing over, it doesn’t look bad!
This little beanie is so easy to knit, and the crown decreases result in a gorgeous design!
Being a grandmother, she decided to extend this pattern to accommodate the grandkids as well. They grow so fast. At least with a stretchy, fold-over hat, they will be able to wear it much longer! So here is the no-nonsense Family Hat Collection!
This is a yarn only kit, you will need to purchase the Family Hat Collection Instructions in order to make the beanie.
