Pure Merino Wool Lace

Pure Merino Wool Lace is a wonderfully versatile yarn and so can be used for all kinds of projects. Create beautiful, delicate openwork shawls; fine lightweight pullovers; soft, cuddly scarves and cowls….. or, work with multiple strands in different colours to create infinite, variegated colourways.

This extra soft, single ply, super wash yarn is mill spun and Herco treated to prevent felting. We use an earth friendly process and dyes that are OEKO-TEX and Bluesign certified to hand dye our huge range of colours, and so it’s good for you and the environment too. Our special dye methods ensure that each strand will have its own unique characteristics.

Each cake or skein comes with our signature white dot sticker to keep the yarn end secure and easy to find.

ColourSpun Colours

There are over 500 colours in our range, see our inspiration here . We hand dye Pure Merino Wool Lace yarn in batches of 5 skeins, but we can dye larger batches on request. We urge you to order enough yarn for your project, because as with all yarn, dye lots vary.

If you don’t find the colour you’re looking for, we will have a go at creating it for you.

Please note: the swatches are for colour reference only since they have been dyed on different weight yarns.

Washing Instructions

Hand wash merino wool in cool water and then dry flat for best results. See full washing instructions here: Washing Instructions

Delivery:

We hand dye on order, so please allow two weeks for production before shipping. Please read our shipping and returns policy before checking out.
