Description

Pure Merino Wool Lace is a wonderfully versatile yarn and so can be used for all kinds of projects. Create beautiful, delicate openwork shawls; fine lightweight pullovers; soft, cuddly scarves and  cowls….. or, work with multiple strands in different colours to create infinite, variegated colourways.

This extra soft, single ply, super wash yarn is mill spun and Herco treated to prevent felting. It is hand dyed in our indie dye studio using an earth friendly process and dyes, and so it’s good for you and the environment too. We use special hand dye methods in order to ensure that each strand is imbued with the artist’s energy and will have its own unique characteristics.

ColourSpun Colours

There are over 500 colours in our range,  see our inspiration here . Pure Merino Wool Lace yarn is hand dyed in batches of 5 skeins, but we can dye larger batches on request.   We urge you to order enough yarn for your project, because as with all yarn, dye lots vary.

If you don’t find the colour you’re looking for, we will have a go at creating it for you.

Please note: the swatches are for colour reference only since they have been dyed on different weight yarns.

Washing Instructions
