Cotton Scintilla Ombre Stacks – 6 yarn cakes are perfectly stacked to move through their colour seamlessly from light to dark.

About ColourSpun Cotton Scintilla yarn

Our mill spins ColourSpun Cotton Scintilla from the finest quality, natural and locally grown 100% pure cotton and just a slither of viscose, in order to give it a scintilla of shine. We use an earth friendly process and dyes that are OEKO-TEX and Bluesign certified to hand dye our huge range of colours. Special dye methods ensure that each strand will have its own unique characteristics.

We spin our cotton yarn for softness and then specially ply it to prevent splitting, which makes it equally good for crochet, knitting and weaving. It’s an eco cotton, which means it’s biodegradable and hypoallergenic, so, it’s good for you and the environment too!

Cotton Scintilla DK/8ply: cakes – approx. 50g/175oz – 125m/136yds DK weight and composed of 50% cotton and 50% bamboo

Washing Instructions

We recommend that you hand wash Cotton Scintilla in cool water. You can also use the wool or delicate cycle to machine wash and then dry flat. See full washing instructions here: Washing Instructions

We hand-dye, air-dry and handball all the yarn for Cotton Scintilla Ombre Stacks. Please allow two weeks for production before shipping – the quality is worth the wait.
